Poodles Turn Three

June 7th marked the third birthday for Frannie's poodle puppies, Dugie, Ginger Rose and Sweet Pea. My sister arranged for a gathering of all three puppies, their mother, Frannie and father, Charlie.

Finally I received a grown photo of a puppy we called "Sparky." The last time I saw him was when I shot these photos. "Dugy" is the name his owners call him.

The other day I took some new photos of my sister's toy poodles. Poor Gracie had her leg in cast. Ginger Rose, who turned one this month, was a little too rough around her older sister. Gracie will be much happier when the cast comes off.

Cocoa Visits Her Family

Cocoa, formerly Pepper, recently spent a week with her mom, sisters and auntie. To refresh you memory, click here to see an image of her from last July. She sure has grown up.

Finally here's Cocoa with her sister Ginger Rose, mother Frannie and auntie Gabbie. Her other sister, Gracie, was hiding inside that day.

Ginger Rose has returned. She no longer lives in Lafayette, Louisiana. She recently had a shave. To refresh you memory, click here to see an image of her from last July. Her siblings have different names now. They go by Dugey and Cocoa.

Porch Poodles

Here's Ginger Rose with her sister Gracie, Aunt Gabbie, and Mother Frannie. See them in action in my videos "Porch Poodles" episodes 3, 4 and 5. Getting them to look in the same direction is very difficult as you can see.

Frannie had a chance to visit with her daughter Ginger Rose in Lafayette, LA. Frannie's sister Gabbie and other daughter Gracie came too.

Spunky at Seven Weeks

Ginger Rose, Pepper and Sparky are seven weeks old now. Soon they will be going to their new homes. They’ve become quite spunky as you will see in this wrestling video on my blog, video journal.

Hard to believe, but Frannie's puppies are six weeks old. The prospective owner of this one has yet to pick a name, but for right now we're calling her Pepper.

These two have been given names by their prospective owners. From right to left there's Sparky and Ginger Rose.

Yes, those poodle puppies have hit the four week mark. They are enjoy playing more and more. Frannie, the mom, needs a rest.
